dates. I used “normal”, soft dates and not (extra soft, large) medjool dates. If you use medjool dates, you may need a little more nuts as the dough will be softer.

nuts. These brownie energy balls contain a mixture of cashews and walnuts. Both are full of vitamins and healthy ingredients. You can easily replace the nuts with others. hazelnuts or almonds are great alternatives.

cocoa powder. The (unsweetened) cocoa powder ensures a delicious chocolate taste and is also full of healthy ingredients.

cinnamon and salt. Both make sure that the flavors of the ingredients are in a good balance.

coconut oil. To bind the ingredients.

You can leave the Brownie Energy Balls plain or roll them in cocoa powder, shredded coconut or grated nuts at the end.

Brownie Energy Balls - Tips & FAQ

What you should know when rolling the energy balls in cocoa powder

If you cover the brownie energy balls with cocoa powder at the end, be aware that it will quickly become a little moist because of the dates and coconut oil. It tastes delicious but it also gives you chocolatey fingers when you touch it. If you don't want that, just leave them plain or roll them in shredded coconut or grated nuts.

How should I store the Brownie Bliss Balls?

Store these Brownie Bliss Balls in a covered container in the fridge. Eat them within 2 weeks.
