This easy avocado hummus with spinach is a very welcome snack in our fridge. It's creamy, healthy and incredibly tasty. This green hummus tastes great on toast, in sandwiches, salads, as a dip with crackers or vegetable sticks or simply spooned on its own.

Ingredients
2canschickpeaseach about 240 g / 8.5 ounces; drained
1mediumripe avocadocut in half, stone and peel removed
100gfresh spinach
3tbsplemon juice
3tbspwater
3tbspolive oil
2tbsptahini
1tspsalt
½tspcumin
½tspblack peppergrated
Instructions
Put all ingredients in a blender and mix for 3 minutes until the hummus has a fine, creamy consistency. Add 2 tablespoons of water or olive oil if necessary. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
Store in a container with a lid in the refrigerator and use within 2 days.
